Recognizing the growing demand for access to business applications and data from anywhere, Tally Solution has announced the availability of TallyPrime on a cloud service.
Cloud access to TallyPrime, Tally’s flagship business management software, is achieved in collaboration with AWS (Amazon web services). AWS will be the technology partner providing cloud machines to virtually use TallyPrime license and data from anywhere.
With TallyPrime powered by AWS, users can now access TallyPrime running on a remote machine, say installed in the cloud, using a client application. With this collaborative solution, the company aims to simplify the lives of customers who have an imminent need to access TallyPrime remotely.
In the statement released by Tally Solution, Tally and AWS teams have been working on the connected solution to ensure it works properly from anywhere. The online connected solution in collaboration with AWS is made available through a network of Tally partners. The company has enabled its partners to offer an end-to-end solution that includes customization, delivery, implementation and after-sales service.
With over 2 million businesses across all industry segments, the availability of TallyPrime on AWS will enable their customers to access and manage business data from anywhere, especially for those who have an imminent need for cloud access.
Earlier in June 2020, Tally Solutions changed its licensing policy to make it easier to use Tally licenses and data on virtual or cloud platforms and called it Tally Virtual User (TVU). The company’s current collaboration with AWS is an extension in this direction to simplify the entire process of onboarding and implementing cloud access to TallyPrime.
The cloud solution in collaboration with AWS follows the launch of TallyPrime which marked the end of an era of Tally.ERP 9, an earlier version of Tally. AWS powered by TallyPrime is available from their latest version, “TallyPrime 2.0”, which over 3,000 customers have upgraded to from previous versions.
