Farsons Group strengthens its food business leadership team

The Farsons Group announces two new additions to its management team.

Sean Portelli, Commercial Director at Quintano Foods Limited for five years, assumes the role of Managing Director of the company. Quintano Foods Limited is the food import arm of the Farsons Group representing global brands such as Danone and PepsiCo’s food portfolio including Quaker, Doritos, Walkers and Tropicana.

Mr. Portelli commented: “It is truly a privilege to be part of the Farsons Group. Five years have passed since I joined the group with a strong will and determination to achieve better results for Quintano Foods. I thank my team and colleagues for their hard work. with the Chairman and CEO for entrusting me with increased responsibilities in this new role. I look forward to continued success and growth, while maintaining the strong will and determination to perform as when I arrived.”

Gordon Naudi is a new recruit as Managing Director of Food Chain Limited which operates global franchises Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King in Malta, with a new franchise to be launched later this year.

“After more than 16 years in the hospitality industry, I look forward to taking on this new challenge to help Food Chain reach new heights and deliver the best customer experience our customers have come to expect from the business. Food Chain has a very exciting future ahead of him, and I am delighted to lead the team on this path,” said Mr. Naudi.

Mr Norman Aquilina, Farsons Group Chief Executive, said: “Gordon and Sean are seasoned managers, both being invaluable additions to our group management team. I am confident that they will play a leading role in implementing our plans to further develop our food business and we look forward to working closely with both of them.
